Alex Fay - Helmut Newton Inspired.

Alex Fay is undeniably one of the most gifted individuals in my circle, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have her as one of my dearest friends here in London. Her musical and vocal talents are nothing short of exceptional, and I wholeheartedly believe that she possesses the potential to emerge as one of the brightest stars in the future of the music industry.

Beyond her remarkable singing abilities, Alex is always willing to collaborate with me on photoshoots. Together, we venture into uncharted creative territory, constantly experimenting with fresh styles and concepts. I am truly grateful to be surrounded by people who not only appreciate my artistic vision but also encourage me to explore and develop my unique photographic style. With friends like Alex, the journey of self-discovery through photography becomes all the more rewarding.

For this particular photoshoot, I drew profound inspiration from none other than the legendary Helmut Newton. During my stay in Milan, I had the privilege of visiting the Palazzo Reale, where they hosted the ‘Helmut Newton Legacy’ exhibition. This exhibit showcased years’ worth of his awe-inspiring work, leaving me utterly captivated and inspired by the magic he wove through his photography. I had to give it a try. What truly resonated with me about Newton’s work was his profound ability to empower women through his photography. His images portrayed his subjects in a mesmerizing manner, often depicting them in elegant suits and ties, which added a unique and captivating dimension to his artistry. It was this empowering portrayal of women and the captivating allure of his subjects that left a lasting impression on me and fueled my creative vision for the shoot. Alex and I had the best time shooting this look, out and about in the streets of London.

Every good wish,

Vittoria.
